JUDO

JUDO

Our Judo program will provide YOU with the instruction to be EFFECTIVE in your undertakings, regardless of whether it it so compete in Judo or to develop EFFECTIVE Self Defense or Compete in Mixed Martial Arts.  We teach both traditional Judo as well as MMA modified Judo to utilize that cage for total domination of your opponenet.  The principles of Judo are to use your opponents movement against them and in this manner even a smaller person can dominate a larger one.  From basic foot sweeps to modified throws off the cage YOU will have fun while learning how to dominate in an MMA cage, Judo tournament, BJJ tournament or defending yourself.  Our Wrestling program focuses on the takedown and transition aspect of wrestling while not focusing on actual wrestling competition.  It is geared toward self defense and MMA preparedness while keeping the pressure and pace that in practice and in competition, that make wrestlers so hard to deal with.  Both of these programs are a terrific workout.

Shotokan Karate is a weaponless martial art that is founded on the basic techniques of punching, striking, kicking and blocking, yet there is a deeper aspect to serious Karate training which deals with character development.  Shotokan Karate is a way for an individual to realize greater potential and expand the limits of that individual's physical and mental capabilities.  Karate in an excellent, time-proven method of personal development.  Shotokan Karate is a traditional Japanese Martial Art founded by Master Gichin Funakoshi.  Shotokan Karate remains firmly rooted in a strong martial arts tradition, emphasizing lifetime training for a healthy mind and body, rather than strictly as a sport.

KICKBOXING/COMBAT STRIKING
